What an awesome experience! So exhilarating, exciting and super fun! I've never been mountain bile riding and this was the best introduction you could ask for. Scenery was breath taking as well as some of the tracks but alas you could not feel more alive and buzzing when you get back to the bottom. The guides were great. Explained everything as we went along and constantly ensured everyone felt comfortable. I would so do this again and recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of buzz in their life!! Loved it!!!

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Firstly the bike ride isn't enjoyable. You're descending at reckless speeds, you don't need to pedal and you're riding dangerously fast. The wind is very cold as you're riding down and you have to be very focused on the bike path so there isn't time to enjoy the scenery when riding downwards. Secondly, it's very dangerous. I suffered a crash and lost consciousness for a few seconds. I was lucky to only have a mild concussion, large hip and knee wounds and bruised up face. My hip and knee wounds have not healed one month later as the skin on the wounds have scraped off. It could have been worse. And thirdly the safety procedures of the company could be better. You have a lead rider at the start of the pack and a van driver at the end. It's hard to be aware of the rocky parts on the road as you're following the bike rider in front of you and you have to be focussed on exactly where they pedal and keep at their pace. The safety equipment could have been better as well. They should have given protective gear for the shoulders, elbows or knees. There could also be a warning given when booking this tour of the potential dangers it's only mentioned that if you can comfortably ride then you can ride down ok which underplays the risk. And finally I had a tour with the same company the day after. I wanted a refund, given my injuries I wanted to rest instead of going on the tour however they refused to budge given I hadn't had given enough notice (I gave notice right after my bike crash). Avoid as it's better to be safe than sorry.

We just returned from a 10 day trip all over Tassie and when I asked my teens what they liked the best, the ride was in their top 3. It was longer than we expected and not just on the road but through nice bushland and also some local housing areas. It wasn't as easy for me to do as the kids but hubbie and I really enjoyed it. It was freezing at the top so rug up in layers because you warm up once you get further into the ride. A fun day out, thank you.

The views were impressive and the weather was kind. Big thanks to our guide for his simple, helpful tips in the off-road sections.. Enjoyed the afternoon 😊

Awesome experience, no doubt helped by the favourable weather. Guides great, off-road sections challenging enough for average bikers, bicycles good quality with disc brakes (otherwise they’d be changing the pads each trip)

This was super fun, relaxing and exciting. A perfect intro / beginner cruise down to Hobart from the top of Mt Wellington, with some off road wide fire trail to have fun on. Great bikes and guides, with stops every few kms of the 22 km length. If you can cycle without falling over you could knock this off.

Great tour, you drive up the mountain then come down on the bikes taking in the amazing views along the way. Loved the off road part and coming back through Hobart. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience!

What an incredible way to spend the afternoon in Hobart. We just loved every minute of this thrilling descent into Hobart from Mount Wellington. The guides Rob and Evan were brilliant. Very mindful of safety and full of information about the mountain, Tasmania and Hobart. We were fortunate to have a spectacular day and this made the ride even better. We thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone who likes a bit of adventure and wants to get away from the usual city tours.

This was so much fun!! I took 2 x 13 yr old boys with me and they were little daredevils while I took it easy, definitely suitable for all different ages and abilities! I still went down the offroad option and that was the most fun!! Was freezing cold and raining at the summit but soon got used to it! Definitely need to dress warmly! The view was spectacular as started to descend below the clouds and rain! Very well explained and great tour guides! Would this again for sure!

Great fun speeding down Mt Wellington, with gravity doing all the work. Very helpful guides, allowing people to go at their own pace. Wonderful views. Well worth it.
