The Duck House is a self-contained heritage bed and breakfast in Burnie, on Tasmania's North West Coast.
The two-bedroom Duck House can accommodate up to six guests. The house is furnished in heritage-style, with antiques, memorabilia and brass and iron beds in the bedrooms. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. The bathroom has a claw foot bath and walk in shower. Provisions for a full breakfast, including eggs, bacon, cereals, yoghurts etc. are supplied. Guests are invited to pick their own herbs and citrus from the rear garden.
The cottage is named for its original owners, Bill Duck and his wife Winifred. The late 19th century timber cottage is a minutes walk from the centre of Burnie, the beach, local park, art gallery, museum and walking tracks.
